An absolute bargain posted on 2010-09-03
Having read some of the negative reviews, I was a little bit apprehensive about buying, but the price was so much lower than an "official" Canon replacement battery that I thought it was worth a punt. I'm delighted to say that it has performed admirably; no problems whatsoever. The battery lifetime might not be quite as long as the original, but I'd say it's negligible and certainly not an issue to consider.

Whether or not build quality is a problem and I was one of the lucky ones who got a good one; I obviously can't say, but this particular customer is nothing short of satisfied!

Well, I charged it up and used it, but now it won't re-charge so I am looking for a replacement.

Perhaps there is a reason why it was so cheap?

I bought this to replace the battery in my Canon Ixus 50 which wasn't holding it's charge. I was worried with it not being a genuine Canon product but it's turned out great. Battery life lasts for ages, works perfectly. Can't fault it.

I bought this as a spare for the original Canon battery and it works perfectly. It's hard to compare the battery life with the Canon one but this did seem to run out quicker than the Canon. But as a spare battery, it's perfectly acceptable and excellent value.
